Written by Developed by Sony Santa Monica and Published by Sony Computer entertainment, God of War III is an action-adventure video game meant for the PS3. The plot of the game starts where the God of War II ended. Gaia is carrying Kratos as she and the other Titans go up Mount Olympus to assault the Gods. The gods try to defend themselves but Gaia and Kratos cause a great flood after they kill Poseidon. They then get knocked off the mountain by Zeus as Gaia tries to climb back up Kratos slips off her back and falls towards the underworld. The game follows a series of events that the player has to successfully. The game features 36 trophies and when players attain the Platinum trophy they are automatically linked to the website that offers a preview for the upcoming Title in the game franchise.
The design of this version of the game is more enhanced with accurate and detailed character models and shadows and great animation. The environment are made more alive and with superb art direction that encompass motion blur and bloom lighting to add the cinematic style of the game. The hardware capabilities of the PS3 allow for further interaction with the environment and allowed for the flexible creation of the characters of the game.
